4 things quietly killing your email results π
|
Hello there, Reader, This month, I'm adding a fun challenge to each email! Complete the challenge in every email you receive this month, and you'll be entered to win a fun prize. Last month, we ended up with a 10-way tie, so I've extended the challenge into this month to help narrow it down to three finalists. The top three participants will each win a FREE 1:1 Email Strategy Zoom Call with me (a $347 value) just for completing the challenges, including clicking the webinar link and signing up. I'll announce the winners in the final email of July. Until then, check out the leaderboard below to see where you stand! Last week, I completed an email audit for a new client, and before I wrote a single email, I uncovered four issues that were quietly killing her email marketing results. All of this, through a simple email audit.
Here's a truth I wish more business owners knew. You can have the best copy in the world, but if your backend systems are broken, you are leaving massive money on the table. Here is exactly what I found hiding in her account:1. A broken welcome sequence: Her welcome sequence had stopped firing three weeks ago after a platform update. Every new subscriber who joined her list since then got absolute silence. 2. A dead lead magnet: Her lead magnet link was broken and outdated. She had been promoting it on Instagram the whole time. People were clicking, but nobody was getting through. 3. Ignored warm leads: Her most engaged subscribers, the exact people who were the most likely to buy, had not received an email in 60 days. They were going cold, and she did not even know it. 4. Boring subject lines: Every single subject line in her recent campaigns was generic. No curiosity. No specificity. Nothing made you want to open it. This explained exactly why her open rates had been dropping for two months. We fixed all four of those things before we ever sent a single campaign. And then, when we did start sending, her numbers reflected a healthy list with a working system behind it, rather than a broken one nobody had noticed. This is what an audit actually looks like. And this is the type of commitment and meticulous planning we give to our clients before we ever ask them to hit send. You should not have to guess if your funnels are actually working while you are busy running your business. If you want an expert to go through your account with that level of attention so you can stop leaving revenue on the table, it is time for us to chat.
Please reach out with any questions. I am happy to help! Melissa
