If your list growth has stalled out, here are 4 quick ways to get the momentum going again:
- Create a "Quick-Win" Lead Magnet: Stop asking people to only "subscribe." Give them a template, a checklist, or a resource that immediately solves a specific problem. Please keep your ideal client in mind when creating. If someone in another niche could join your list, it's not specific enough. Remember, I would rather have a smaller list of the right people than a larger list that won't read, buy, or support you.
- Talk About It Everywhere: Your email opt-in should be the main call-to-action on your social media, pinned to the top of your profiles, and boldly featured on your website homepage. Add a pop-up (one client did this and gained 100 subscribers overnight). If you need help, reach out!
- Use Other People's Audiences: Pitch yourself as a guest on a podcast or as a guest speaker in a mastermind. When you drop massive value, give that audience a specific link to download your lead magnet!
- Automate the Welcome: List growth doesn't matter if you drop the ball once they subscribe. Set up an automated 4-part Welcome Sequence to nurture those new leads while you are offline.
