These are the good old days....

Hello there, Reader,

We are about a month into hockey practice. My kids are working so hard, and I am impressed with their work ethic. Proud hockey mom moment! 🏒 This year, we joined a new team, Team Cleveland, which means lots of travel ahead—Buffalo, Grand Rapids, Detroit, and Pittsburgh are all on the schedule. I’m excited for the games, the adventures, and all the fun family weekends that come with hockey. (Yes, I totally count tournaments as family vacations!)

My husband is deep into fall ball lacrosse season and is managing to juggle recruiting, coaching, and being an amazing partner. In my free time, I am the assistant coach of Finn's lacrosse team (he is playing up two grades) and I have joined a women's service club in our community. Volunteering fills my heart! I love to give back to both people and animals (we write emails for the Humane Society), and even in the middle of this busy season, I know I’ll miss these days someday.

Speaking of busy, let’s make networking fun! I’ve been posting plenty of email marketing content on LinkedIn, and I’d love to have you in my network! Bonus: coffee is on me for the first three who send me a connection request!

I want to personally invite you to join me for the Wild Women in Business Virtual Summit, Oct 2–3. I’ll be presenting on Building Your Tribe: Mastering the Like, Know, Trust Factor with Email Marketing. You’ll also hear from 25 other powerhouse entrepreneurs. Tickets are just $22 with code Melissa Seideman in all caps or join here.

I know the idea of switching email marketing platforms can feel a bit overwhelming. The thought of moving all of your subscribers, recreating automations, and worrying about something breaking can stop you in your tracks.

That's why I've developed a proven system to handle the entire process for you. I don't just see it as a technical chore; I approach it as a strategic project to ensure your new setup is even better than the old one.

I always recommend switching to the free plan so you can keep all your data.

I have several email migrations scheduled for the next few months because Flodesk's offer is just too good! I have a proven system for handling email migrations, which is especially helpful now that every provider seems to be raising prices. Even Kajabi announced its price hike on Tuesday.

I'll take care of everything, from meticulously transferring your existing lists, tags, and segments to flawlessly rebuilding your automations and email sequences. My goal is to minimize downtime and preserve your valuable customer relationships. Your email marketing can continue to run without a hitch.

If you had asked me to switch to Flodesk a year ago, I would have said no way, but they have DRAMATICALLY improved new features. I even migrated my history business to Flodesk with no regrets at all!

On the other hand, my email business (this one) has a welcome sequence that's quite long. I'm a little hesitant to move that one over, due to the amount of work. I reached out to Kit for a discount after their price increase, and I’ll be keeping this account with them.

Back to Flodesk...they are offering a great deal right now! Use my link to get half off your first year (only $208). After that, it’s $416 per year with unlimited subscribers. This pricing is going away in November, so now’s the time to lock it in! You’ll also get a 30-day free trial to test it out first.

I’m working on several email migrations right now, and I can give you an exact hourly quote for how long yours will take. Just add me to your Kit account (melissa@notanotherva.com), and I’ll take a look at what you’ve got set up.

I am booked out with dates into January for email marketing switches. I have a few more dates available in November and October if you'd like to schedule a time.
